Client Critiques
I purchased this unit without having being able to see 1 in person, so I wasn't fairly certain what I would be receiving. I wanted stainless, but did not really feel like paying $1000+ for a hood. I am pleased to say it is a incredibly desirable unit, well built, effortless to install, and works reasonably nicely.
I say reasonably, and I don't have anything to evaluate it to, so take this with a grain of salt, considering at the lower speed settings, it will not draw air/steam from the front burners of the stove. When set to high speed, it does a fantastic job, and does direct every thing coming off the stove top up the flue.
The stainless is reasonably very easy to clean, but the top rated of the hood will get greasy if the fan isn't on and you are cooking with oil. The lights are good and vibrant, and the fan isn't nearly as loud as some of the commercial units, but it does not draw as properly either. General this is a great unit at a amazing cost for someone looking to spice up the look of their kitchen with no breaking the bank.
I purchased this hood to go atop our corner stove/range. The stove/range is our focal point in our kitchen. It is been up for a tiny more than three weeks, and the hood looks spectacular. I also really like that it has various settings for the fan. Even on low, it is not loud, and it does a superior job of sucking up air. I am surely pleased with this acquire, and it was the least expensive on Amazon!
